“ You know that point where Texas, Mexico and New Mexico all meet? That's pretty much where this little, out of the way, steakhouse is. When you walk in, it's like you have been transported back in time to the 1880s with all the beautiful wood decor, but there have been plenty of updates. One of which is the speakers playing wonderful old country music and old bluegrass music. So what do you order when you go here? Your answer may vary, but as for me: I ordered the 10 oz Ribeye (naturally called the "Edge of Texas Steak") medium. Baked potato and salad for my sides. The salad was great, topped off with a vinaigrette dressing. Then came the steak and potato. The steak was absolutely grilled to perfection. Wonderful flavor, perfectly seasoned. The baked potato was excellent as well, just needed a little sprinkling of salt to make it 10/10. After finishing all that, my server had the audacity to ask if I wanted any dessert. I was full, so of course my gluttonous side won out and said "bring it on!" She showed me a tray of desserts that made it hard for me to choose just one. But, I chose the cheesecake topped with strawberry. When she brought it to me it was just as big as the one on the tray! I was shocked to say the least. I made it all the way to the end of the cheesecake before I tapped out. If you ever make your way out to El Paso, Tx or Alamogordo, NM, do yourself a favor and check this place out! You will not be disappointed. ”
